Week 6!
Today's Blog will correlate with editing Process #1 and discuss more tools and what helped her efforts with editing our production.
Tools:
Tools Emma used within editing are many tutorials. Tutorials on fonts, placement of texts and visual tactics to enhance a film. All sourced from the lovely platform You tube! Using these tutorials helped Emma see from even professional levels on tips and references on how to correctly edit and place effects and fonts while still keeping the vision clean and crisp. Its important and key she took time and space to reflect and learn rather than jumping straight into her editing process. Like myself would never have considered to do this approach of learning through video form as when I view editing it is very daunting to me. I would Immediately jump into editing process, however Emma choose to do the opposite and really focus on how would she get the look she wanted to achieve without feeling rushed and making careless error.
Within the timeline of her editing she also aligned music (copyrighted) with the footage. With in mind to not make the music predictable within the footage. As well as extending where the music itself doesn't correlate with the piece. Many mistakes within past projects of our music or sound not aligning with the footage or scene itself. From learning these past mistakes Emma has token note into not repeating them. With this in mind while our editing is short from end product, our editor has token the key steps to make sure that the results are excellent quality and heavily tie in the overall production
