Brenan

Brenna is group member I worked with in my last group meeting. His project seems to be progressing very well. His film The Push over reflects two boys Austin and Asher. The film itself is a thriller that a bully situation leads into murder. Brenna displayed and showed progress of the shooting and editing. Overall from his footage my groups feedback was to add and cut certain scenes due to lightning issues. Our team member Dylan suggested to fix the panning and framing of certain shots. Brenan seems to extremely satisfied with all his work and the team members collaboration. He highly discussed the availability of wide variety of equipment his team had access to from the CB TV production class. Overall Push over seems to be a great film and something I would watch if it were officially published for viewing.

Dylan

The title Dylan excerpt is For Will. His story line follows Will the main character is who is primarily stuck in his room due to mental illness. Following will is Derek Wills friend that is support system for him. Derek and Will are contrasting characters within their character development. That Derek writes this letter that the contents is unknow to the audience. Hencing the title For Will with the lettering entailing for Will. From Dylan’s main explanation of his film he was very not keen on showing his footage but showed behind the scenes of his production process. It looked overall professional but the only critique we could say is to add better lighting and angling certain shots of the room better to not be so bland or to repetitive. He asked for suggestions for the CCR and our team member Maia offered the suggestion of incorporating the letter from the film and having fake Letters of fans interpretation of what entails in the letter on how he answers the CCR. Overall it's fun and exciting approach to a drama film.

Noah

Noah’s film titled Straight A’ is a fixed on male teen named Oliver who has a split personality. His exterior appearance is posh and wealthy while is alter personality is unpeformative, substance abusive and sneaky teenage boy. His title Straight A’s is metaphorical contrast to the image his social wealth and expectations that oppositely allign to Olivers true actions. Since Noah film would involve use of drug our group highly advised to film with caution as they should not be use of any form of underage drug use. Although the concept of the film is very interesting with no footage to back progression leave very little work or progress for Noah in his team as our project is narrowing down the final weeks.

Amanda

Amanda’s film titled Mind over Mat. This coming of age revolves around a girl Amanda who is in taekwondo faces a major injury and is forced to take absence from her sport. She struggles with injuries to her ankle while trying to stay motivated dispute her difficulties. Within Amanda’s blog has fun and sparky light to her way of showcasing her footage. This coming of age is fun sports incorporated film that would definitely be on my watch list. We added nothing but support and fun suggestions she incorporate for her CCR such as the beloved  stuff animal Lamby featured with the film. As a cool and funny humorous way to do interview for the CCR.

Maia

Finally Maia film titled Maia; Unfiltered explores cool and unique way of incorporating blogging into her project.  Following a teen sophomore in highschool Maia who struggles with bullying and makes motivational blogs through our her life to inspire others following the same struggles. Maia has shown behind the scenes footage of her bedroom transformation and shots of the bullying scenes. My team members and I noted the cool way of adding a kid like design to her set and costume design to be scene as flaw within the characters challenges while adding some development on who Maia is. We offered advice of trying to stay natural with her script for voice overs and to get into character. As well as offering advice to incorporate more blogging within the CCR. Overall Maia project is fresh outlook on the coming of age films I've heard and I am excited to see the end result of her hard work.
