We were tasked with an assignment of creating 60 sec to 90 sec film of a word chosen random with no sound and the use of our prior knowledge of cameras shots, composition and editing techniques. We were given a week and a half to complete this. We broke down the work into sections by first creating a storyboard. The storyboard included a sketch of what the scenes would be as well as a description of the shots angles and composition. At the end of the storyboard we would identify and state two techniques we would use and why. The storyboard helped us visualize and set in stone the exact story we wanted to convey based on the word we choose but as well create a thought process of how many shots we needed and what kind of composition and shots were going to make sense with the film. We given the freedom to use any editing software except Cap-cut. My partner and I used Adobe Premier. We used the Adobe Premier to create the exact flow movement as well as properly cut some mistakes to our film. It made the film  smoother as well as visually appealing to look at based of the raw footage from our devices we used to record. I believe we achieved our storyboard well as the we committed the to goal of the story wanted to accomplish. It was a bit strange to make film so short and no sound. Looking back at our video I really like all the details we incorporated to understand the tone as well as setting to paint our story across.
